World Dental Forum Focuses on Current International Dentistry Trends
SEATTLE—More than 570 dentists worldwide gathered at the World Dental Forum in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China, from May 31 to June 3, including several dentists from the U.S.

The World Dental Forum included an educational excursion to Modern Dental Laboratory in the world-class manufacturing hub of Shenzhen, China. This excursion allowed dentists to see first-hand how international integration is reaching dentists and patients across the world today. After the tour of the largest dental laboratory in the world, MDL USA hosted a US Delegation semi-formal dinner where Farran, Savage and Christensen addressed the Delegation on practice management techniques and the future of dentistry.
This year’s event was held at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong and co-organized by The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry and Modern Dental Laboratory. The World Dental Forum was particularly special as the World Dental Forum was taking place in conjunction with the 100 year anniversary of The University of Hong Kong and the 30 year anniversary of The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry.
