Joyce Bassett, DDS
Joyce Bassett, DDS was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Toledo Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Bassett graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1983 and has been in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona since then. Her focus is on cosmetic and complex rehabilitation cases.
Dr. Bassett became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996. She became a Fellow in the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics in 2000. Dr. Bassett became an Accredited Fellow member in the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2013. She was elected into membership in the American Academy of Fixed Prothodontics in 2005. Dr. Bassett teaches the Esthetic Continuum at the Arizona School of Dentistry. She has been selected to serve on the editorial board on Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Bassett is past president of the Arizona Academy of General Dentistry. She is the founder of Women Teaching Women Cosmetic Learning Facility. Dr. Bassett is the recipient of the Volunteer Dentist of the Year Award for the State of Arizona where her focus is on homeless women who have been victims of domestic violence. She is published in National Peer Review Journals, and she lectures internationally in Aesthetics and Complex Restorative Dentistry.
