|  Mr. Durkee graduated from the Dental Technology Institute in Tustin, California, in 1973, and became a certified dental technician in 1979. Since 1980 he has been the owner and lead ceramist at Lafayette Dental Laboratory in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Durkee attends 100+ hours of continuing education each year. In addition to maintaining his certification requirements, Mr. Durkee has studied extensively with leading ceramists, Willi Geller, Makoto Yamamoto, Masahiro Kuwata, Oliver Brix, and Dr. Edward Mclaren. He also spends time in Germany each year studying with master ceramist Klaus Mutertheis. |
