UT Study Club Photography Workshop
Attracts AACD Leaders
Under the direction and guidance of AACD past president, Dr. Mickey Bernstein, the University of Tennessee Student Esthetic Study Club in Memphis, Tennessee, recently held its annual photography workshop to introduce dental students to the techniques and principles of clinical shooting and proper photo documentation of cases. The UT/AACD Esthetic Study club has been in existence for two years, and this was the second photography workshop the group has held, providing students with with AACD-quality intraoral and portrait photographic skills that they'll carry with them for the rest of their careers. Thirty-three lucky sudents were attended the workshop.
Also in attendance to share their knowledge and expertise to a large group of enthusiastic dental students were, left to right, Accredited members Drs. Richard Caron, John Rowe, AACD president John Sullivan, Mickey Bernstein, J.A. Reynolds, as well as Drs. Phillip Kemp and John Whittemore.
“Mickey coordinated bringing AACD-quality speakers to the UT study club,” said John Sullivan, "creating lifelong AACD/student relationships. This is what the Academy is all about.”
