DC Power Session to Feature Three Legendary Speakers

While it’s often said the best should be saved for last, this year’s opening general session at the Annual AACD Scientific Session in Washington, DC, could prove that philosophy wrong.

If you’re planning to attend this year’s annual scientific session, you’re in for a treat. The AACD will kick off the conference with an all-new power session Wednesday afternoon starting at 2:30 p.m., featuring three of cosmetic dentistry’s biggest names.

Drs. Christian Coachman, David Garber, and Eric Van Dooren will lead the session with a discussion about three different smile design approaches, from conservative to comprehensive. The session, first of its kind for AACD, is suited for every conference attendee—from doctors to team members. It’s powerful, live education at its finest with a format to inspire all who attend.

“The new, old and middle-aged cosmetic dentist will be dazed by the legendary headline lecturers we are honored to host at our 2012 AACD Annual Scientific Session,” said Dr. David Eshom, co-chair of the Professional Education Committee (PEC).

Each dentist will have a unique story to tell. Dr. Coachman is the owner and partner of Well Clinic Dental Office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is a consultant for Ivoclar Vivadent. Dr. Garber is a partner at Goldstein, Garber and Salama in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Van Dooren maintains a private practice focused on periodontics and implants in Antwerp, Belgium.

“The PEC selected these legendary speakers to provide a cross section of the best cosmetic dentistry has to offer,” Eshom adds. “Treatment, from minimally invasive bonding cases to veneers to full-mouth rehabilitation, will be shown. They will also address the do’s and don’ts of patient treatment using the best
in the most minimally invasive manner.”

Following the opening session will be the AACD Welcome Reception. All conference attendees are invited to attend.

Other general sessions will be held Thursday and Friday mornings. Speakers for those sessions will be announced soon—so keep checking www.aacdconference.com for updates!
