Ivoclar and vhf strengthen partnership with IPS e.max® CAD validation on additional milling machines

The Ivoclar Group, one of the world’s leading providers of integrated solutions for high-quality dental applications, and vhf camfacture AG, an internationally leading manufacturer of CNC milling machines, milling tools and CAM software, are further expanding their partnership: The vhf Z4 and E4 models will soon be validated for IPS e.max® CAD processing with the PrograMill holder, joining the already authorized vhf N4+ milling machine. Dental practices will benefit from additional, optimally coordinated solutions for efficient digital workflows.

Authorized CAD/CAM systems ensure reliable processing procedures and reproducible results. Coordinated workflows provide greater process stability, offering dental professionals added assurance. Being able to offer enhanced reliability is the driving force for Ivoclar and vhf to expand their partnership. By authorizing the vhf N4+, Z4 and E4 milling machines for IPS e.max® CAD processing with the PrograMill holder, users benefit from reliable, validated solutions for fully coordinated workflows, designed for the fabrication of restorations that offer high esthetics, strength, reproducibility and long-term durability. The software update will be available starting from November 2025.

Reliability through authorized CAD/CAM systems
Ivoclar recommends the use of authorized CAD/CAM systems for the processing of IPS e.max CAD. These systems have been verified and adjusted to align with IPS e.max CAD, ensuring consistent, reproducible results and process reliability. Coordinated milling strategies ensure an accurate fit, high edge stability and efficient processing – regardless of the type of restoration being produced.
